Hey You! First of all, thank you for stopping by but let me introduce myself. I’m Kristine, Personal Trainer, Fitness Enthusiast, and owner of “Beauty In The Buff ‘!
I started “Beauty In The Buff” as a personal blog to document my journey to my first bodybuilding show. I use to say that I started the blog as my way to prove to everyone wrong that didn’t believe in me wrong but looking back I was the one that didn’t believe in myself. I suffered from low self-esteem, disorder eating and a terrible streak of self-loathing with failed attempts at dieting. Competing for this show was an extreme way to be introduced to fitness as I had never lifted a weight prior to training, but it was a long-term goal that I was determined to accomplish. I would never say that the Fitness saved me but it certainly gave me the opportunity to save myself. As I grew into the new version of my fit self I realized there were many women that felt the same way as me which is why I am here today!
What started as a personal blog has turned into a place where I’ve dedicated my time, experience, and education in helping the everyday woman learn to take control over their health and fitness and find their inner strength. Life is too short to feel like a prisoner of our bodies and every woman deserves to feel empowered in their version of a Beauty In The Buff!
